Gold Brocade (Kinran) - Dragon & Tiger
[Product Description]
Kinran (gold brocade) has been woven mainly in Nishijin, Kyoto.
Kinran is a type of weaving in which gold and silver threads are mixed with colored threads as weft, and woven in such a way that a pattern emerges.
Traditionally, gold brocade (kinran) has been widely used in Japanese-style products, but today it is utilized in a variety of settings beyond Japanese and Western styles, including interior decor.
Brocade, which is very popular in our stores, is also very Kyoto-like and makes a great souvenir or gift.
It would be wonderful to make an original red seal book.
The polyester material is also reasonably priced.
*Please note that the threads tend to fray when cut due to the nature of the fabric.
*Although the material is washable, we recommend hand washing or partial washing because it is a delicate fabric.
